The Kangshan gold deposit is controlled by tectonic crustal alteration zone in the vicinity of the contact interface between the Taihua group of the crystalline basement and the Proterozoic Xiong’er Group strata in the Xiong’ershan paleohigh uplift area in western Henan Province.
