Archaeological metallurgy in the valleys of the Arab world has yielded fruitful results that have drawn the attention of the world’s academic community. Throughout the nearly 100 years of metallurgical history in the region, the most striking topic is the academic debate about the “Solomon Copper Mine.” This controversy protracted, much attention, its influence greatly beyond the scope of archeology, until in recent years there is no conclusion. Reviewing the ins and outs of this debate will help us to understand the history of West Asia and the history of modern European and American archeology. The Wadi Arabah, in the present southern Israel, is on the verge of the northeastern Sinai Peninsula, in the Dead Sea and Asia
