我在赴香港参加“世界海外华人研究学会”年会时,曾与新加坡《联合早报》驻香港特派员吴丽英女士(现任驻北京特派员)就新加坡报业改革问题进行交流。后又在“’95世界华文报刊与中华文化传播国际学术研讨会”上,有幸向与会的新加坡《联合早报》总编辑林任君和新加坡国立大学专事研究华文报业的王慷鼎教授请教。去年赴新加坡访问时,又专程参观了报业集团公司,使我深受启发。 一个国家不同政治体制与它的国情和历史发展密不可分,新闻体制的建立和完善,又与它的经济发展程度分不开。了解新加坡政府所推行的新闻体制和新闻政策是如何建立和发展完善起来的?探讨新加坡政府对报业独特的管理方式,对海外潮起潮落华文报业以至国内一些大城市正在走集团化道路的新闻业,想必都具有一定的启迪和借鉴作用。
When I was in Hong Kong to attend the annual meeting of the World Overseas Chinese Studies Society, I had an exchange with Singapore’s newspaper press commissioner, Miss Ng Lai Ying (currently serving as special correspondent in Beijing) on the issue of newspaper reform in Singapore when he was with the “United Morning Post” in Hong Kong. Later on, “’95 International Chinese Symposium on Chinese Newspapers and Communication in Chinese Culture,” was fortunate enough to consult Professor Lin Renjun, chief editor of Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao, and Professor Wang Kangding, who specializes in Chinese newspapers at the National University of Singapore. During my visit to Singapore last year, I made a special trip to visit Newspaper Group Corporation and made me deeply inspired. The different political systems of a country are inseparable from its national conditions and historical development. The establishment and improvement of the news system are inseparable from its economic development. Understand how the Singaporean government implemented the news system and press policy How to Establish and Develop? The Singapore Government’s unique management style for the newspaper industry, overseas Chinese trendy Chinese newspapers as well as some major cities in China are taking the group road The news industry, presumably have some enlightenment and reference.
