笔者收藏有两册民国五年(1916年)出版的梁启超著作《盾鼻集》。该书由商务印书馆印行,民国著名将军蔡锷先生作序,收录的是梁启超先生在反袁斗争期间撰写的公文20篇、函牍6篇、电报102篇、论文6篇,集中表达了梁任公关心国事、心系国家民族大义的殷殷之情。“盾鼻”即盾牌的把手。这是一个典故,出自《北史·文苑传·荀济》,说荀济与梁武帝萧衍是布衣之交,他看出萧衍后来有称王
