人民民主是社会主义的生命。在马克思主义发展史上,邓小平创造性地继承与发展了马克思主义民主政治思想,使马克思主义民主政治理论牢牢植根于中国特色社会主义的实践沃土,为我国开创了一条通过社会主义建设,通过各方面改革和制度创新,来建设和完善社会主义民主政治的现实道路。在加快推进社会主义现代化建设的今天,系统学习、深刻领会和积极实践邓小平中国特色社会主义民主政治思想,对于深化政治体制改革,推进我国社会主义民主政治建设实现新的历史性跨越具有重要意义。
People’s democracy is the life of socialism. In the history of the development of Marxism, Deng Xiaoping creatively inherited and developed the Marxist democratic political thought, firmly rooted Marxist democratic politics in the fertile soil of socialism with Chinese characteristics, set a stage for our country through socialist construction, Reform and institutional innovation in order to build and perfect the realistic path of socialist democracy. Today, accelerating the socialist modernization drive, systematically studying and thoroughly understanding and actively implementing Deng Xiaoping’s socialist democratic thinking with Chinese characteristics is of great significance to deepening the reform of the political system and pushing forward the new historic leap in the building of our socialist democratic politics.
