If the reform and opening up pushed China into the world door, then China’s accession to the WTO will further promote the awakening of China’s awareness of quality and speed up the pace of product quality improvement in China. Not long ago, WTO Director-General Pakkar Lamy said in an interview with the Chinese media: Without China’s WTO, it can not afford the prestige of “world”. Every corner of the world, consumers benefit from the “Made in China” products, China is already a very important part of the global supply chain. The rigorous and even harsh international standards and technical measures have indeed hindered exports and created a lot of friction, but at the same time forcing our product quality to conform to international standards. The mechanism of forcing, no matter the quality management, standard promotion, or regulatory philosophy, means, have formed a long-term benign push.
