我厂在低氢型电焊条的生产中,其粘结剂——水玻璃的质量不够稳定,常有模数过高的现象(M≥3)。在用这种水玻璃制造焊条时,发现水玻璃结皮速度快,焊条在晾干过程中,由于干燥速度过快,涂料塑性较差,出现焊条药皮开裂,粘结不牢等现象。为此,我们曾先后采用高、低模数水玻璃混合和加入 NaOH 等方法来降低水玻璃的模数。采用高,低模数水玻璃混合方法,虽然在一定程度上(如用来生产φ≤4毫米焊条等),可以满足生产上的要求,但用于生产
