2001年8月30日上午,18岁的高旭正在县城电影院附近捡破烂,突然听到有人叫她:“小破烂王,还不快回家呀,邮局的人把你的大学录取通知书送到家里了!”高旭一听,背起塑料袋就往家里跑。捧着北京航空航天大学用特快专递寄来的录取通知书,高旭笑了。她笑着望了望爸爸,又望了望妈妈,眼圈突然红了。爸爸爱怜地拍了拍她的头:“妮呀,想哭你就哭出来吧!靠捡破烂铺平了一条大学路,爸知道你现在心里在想啥……”高旭再也忍不住眼中的泪水了,她喜极而泣……
