Objective To investigate the source of infection and the risk of second-generation transmission of HIV infection by heterosexual business practices in the eastern and central provinces of China. Methods HIV-infected persons who were heterosexual sexes were recruited to conduct in-depth interviews to investigate their information on the history of HIV infection before and after diagnosis of HIV, and to analyze the most likely time and place of HIV infection and the risk of second-generation transmission after HIV infection . A t-test with two-sample mean was used to compare the first sexual behavior, age, timing of commercial sexual behavior between men and women, and a comparison of estimated time intervals from HIV infection to HIV. As a result, 1245 self-reported surveys of HIV-infected and heterosexual men were conducted in six provinces. Results showed that 43.2% of these people reported having performed commercial sex in more than two cities and 31.2 % Readme occurred in 2 or more provinces have commercial sex, 20.6% of the respondents reported the occurrence of commercial sex at the same time there are non-marital non-commercial interim behavior. 44.4% of respondents think they are infected with HIV in the provinces outside the household registration and 20.9% of the respondents think they are infected with HIV in other cities in the household registration provinces. 23.3% of those who knew that they still had any commercial sex after HIV infection had a risk of transmitting HIV even though HIV was not effectively suppressed because of their inability to consistently use condoms. Conclusion The heterosexual transmission of AIDS is very complicated and widespread. It is urgent to carry out health education and behavioral interventions systematically and comprehensively among the general population and key populations.
