随着国家经济建设和人员生活水平日益增长的需要,生猪生产还需进一步大力发展,省地委已确定把肉类生产列为湖北地区农业生产的四大指标之一。发展养猪必须有充足的饲料,我校为了解决这一生产实际问题,58年曾由湖南省引进水生饲料——水葫芦,经试种结果证明水葫芦在本省的自然条件下,不仅生长良好,产量高,而且成本低,喂猪效果好,可成为本省最有发展前途的多汁饲料。经本校试种后推广,至今年5月份为止已有汉川、安陆、应山、孝感、应城、武昌机专、应山师范等
With the country’s economic construction and the increasing needs of living standards, pig production needs to further develop vigorously, the provincial Party committee has identified the meat production as one of the four indicators of agricultural production in Hubei Province. In order to solve this practical production problem, our school introduced aquatic feed - water hyacinth in Hunan province in 58 years. The test results show that water hyacinth not only grows well under the natural conditions of this province , High yield, low cost, good effect of feeding pigs, can become the most promising juicy feed in the province. After the school to promote the test species, until May this year, Hanchuan, Anlu, Ying Shan, Xiaogan, Yingcheng, Wuchang Machine, Ying Shan Normal, etc.
