2016年2月9日,美国卫讯公司和欧洲卫星通信公司签约创建一家合资企业,以结合欧洲卫星通信公司目前的欧洲宽带业务与美国卫讯公司业界领先的宽带技术和商用互联网服务提供商的业务经验。在长达十年的合作基础上,美国卫讯公司和欧洲卫星通信公司联合起来建立伙伴关系,将扩大欧洲通信卫星公司目前的宽带批发业务,并在欧洲推出新的商用零售服务。该合资企业将首先使用欧洲通信卫星公司的高容量宽带卫星KA-SAT。
On February 9, 2016, U.S. Guardian and European Satellite Communications Corporation signed a contract to establish a joint venture to combine European satellite communications company’s current European broadband business with U.S. WiMAX’s industry-leading broadband technology and commercial Internet service providers. On the basis of ten years of cooperation, U.S. Guardian and EuroSatcom have joined forces to establish a partnership that will expand the current broadband wholesale business of European communications satellite company and launch new commercial retail services in Europe. The joint venture will first use European communications satellite company’s high-capacity broadband satellite KA-SAT.
