“十一五”时期,张家界市委、市政府带领全市干部群众同心同德、奋发图强,开创了建市以来经济发展最快、城乡面貌变化最大、人民群众得实惠最多的可喜局面。经济发展综合实力显著增强。2005年与2010年相比,全市生产总值由107.7亿元增至241亿元,人均GDP由902美元增至2400美元。财政总收入由7.13亿元增至21.15亿元;工业增加值由18.85亿元增至47亿元,第三产业增加值由65.37亿元增至151.2亿元;固定资产投资由49.12亿元增至143亿元;居民储蓄存款由58.67亿元增至167.1亿元。
