The Third Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that as a strategic task of building a new socialist countryside, we should speed up the formation of an integrated new pattern of urban and rural economic and social development as a fundamental requirement and adhere to the principle of urban support of rural areas and promotion of rural economy
