云木香(Aucklandia LappaDecne.)亦称木香、广木香,为菊科多年生草本植物。根粗壮,圆柱形,外皮褐色,具特殊香气,味苦,有行气止痛,温中和胃的作用,是中医常用的中药材。现主要栽培于云南丽江、维西、中旬、兰坪、大理,其次是腾冲、保山以及四川省的涪陵、万县、绵阳等地。云木香喜凉爽湿润的气候环境,耐寒冷,喜肥。一般根入土30～50厘米深,宜选择海拔2200～3300米的高
