民间工艺美术在我国有着悠久历史和极为广泛的生存土壤,是我国古老文明的一大组成部分。我从事无锡泥人的创作与研究三十余年,就以无锡泥人来说,它传承自几十乃至几百年前,形成了特有的生产方式和艺术风格,拥有很多欣赏者。这样的民间工艺美术,同时也能代表我国传统的工艺美术,我认为,应该得到普遍的尊重。
Folk arts and crafts in our country has a long history and a very wide range of living soil, is a large part of our ancient civilization. I engaged in the creation and research of Wuxi clay man for more than thirty years. In the case of Wuxi clay man, it inherited from tens or even hundreds of years ago and formed a unique mode of production and artistic style with many admirers. Such folk arts and crafts, but also to represent our traditional arts and crafts, I think, should be universally respected.
