With the traditional festival of the Chinese nation - the Spring Festival approaching, New Year’s collection has become a fashionable topic of relish for the Tibetan community. New Year paintings are a kind of traditional folk art form peculiar to our country. They express the festive aesthetic taste in the popular painting language. The New Year pictures have a long history. In the Han Dynasty, the custom of “sticking to the gods” appeared and reached its heyday in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In recent years, with the improvement of people’s living standard and the change of home environment, New Year paintings gradually withdraw from the modern life and turn into the field of collection. With the entry of the State Intangible Cultural Heritage List, the New Year Pictures have become increasingly promising “potential shares” in the Tibetan community. As the New Year has a high collection and appreciation of the value, so in recent years
