Viterbi算法(VA)已应用于通讯领域中各种各样的问题上。近来,它又被用于测井数字采集技术(Well-log deglitching)上(Godfrey,1979)。本文,在假设震源子波和噪音的统计特征为已知的情况下,我们将VA法用来检测地震同相轴,并通过某些模拟研究,我们把VA法与库莫洛(Kormylo)的SMLR(single-most-likely-replacement)检测法(Kormylo,1979)做了比较。看来SMLR检测技术不是最佳的方法,因为它所涉及的勘探函数并没有被完全地减到最小。另一方面,VA法则在各个方面都是一种最佳的检测方法。
Viterbi algorithm (VA) has been applied to a variety of issues in the communications field. It has recently been used for well-log deglitching (Godfrey, 1979). In this paper, we assume that the statistical characteristics of the source wavelet and noise are known, and we use the VA method to detect the seismic events. Through some simulation studies, we compare the VA method with Kormylo’s SMLR (single-most-likely-replacement) assay (Kormylo, 1979). It appears that the SMLR detection technique is not the best method because the exploration functions it involves are not completely minimized. On the other hand, the VA law is the best method of detection in every respect.
