发动机的功率(通常指的是有效功率)与发动机排量有着密切的关系。所谓发动机功率Ne—单位时间曲轴对外输出的功。它表示发动机的工作能力。而发动机排量V_H——活塞由上止点移动到下止点所扫过的气缸容积,这称为气缸工作容积。各缸工作容积之和就称为发动机排量。它在一定程度上,也反映着发动机工作的能力。 从上两个定义,不难看出它们都反映出发动机工作的能力。对于同一发动机来说,Ne∽N_H即功率与排量成正比关系 发动机排量越大,充进气缸内的气体量就越多,燃烧产生的热量就越大,推动活塞作
