This research report elaborates the research progress in the 1st year of the 973 young scientist research project Fundamental Theory and Method for Dense 3D Coverage Mobile Communications.To meet the demand of ubiquitous wireless access and resolve that conflict between the scarcity of radio spectra and ever-increasing wireless services,this project aims to achieve efficient utilization of limited wireless resources by exploiting new concepts such as multi-dimensional recognition and massive user cooperation.In the 1st year,following the project plan,the team initially established the system model and heterogeneous network architecture,proposed pilot-based parameter recognition,analyzed the spectral and energy efficiency of massive MIMO,
