The size, distribution characteristics, precipitation rules and compositions of precipitates in two ferritic Ti - Mo microalloyed steels with different Ti contents were studied by means of optical microscope, transmission electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The results showed that: Most of the precipitates in the steel are ultrafine carbides with a size of less than 10 nm and a normal distribution of precipitated phase size. With the increase of Ti content from 0.072% to 0.092%, the average size of the precipitated particles increases and the distribution peaks to the particles Ti - Mo microalloyed steel has a grid - like phase precipitation, the grid spacing is greatly affected by the cooling rate, and the lattice spacing is different between the grain boundaries and near the grain boundaries. It is found that the Mo content of particles with different sizes is different. The larger particles (about 50 nm) do not contain Mo in the precipitates, and the carbides in small particles (<20 nm) are the composite precipitates of Ti and Mo. Decrease, the proportion of Mo in the composition increases.
