自从1973年中国科学院大气物理研究所开展热带气旋流体力学实验模拟研究以来,先后有十余人参加了本项工作,并于最近几年开展了相应的数值模拟试验。在有关方面的支持下,取得了以下成果: 1、建立了大型流体力学热带气旋实验模拟转台,其中成功地以香烟产生的烟云对红外线的吸收并加热大气柱,来模拟自然台风中的潜热释放对大气的加热,这在国际上属首创,本设备一直工作到今,性能稳定。 2、成功地在室内模拟出了气体台风、台风眼、风场、湿度场,上下层流场结构、垂直剖面结构。它们与
