高碑店“上四调”属于我国传统社会曾经活跃于乡间的无数中小型剧种之一,其发展历史及目前所面临的衰微处境颇富代表性。就其产生的历史背景和渊源而言,“上四调”属于清中叶勃兴的花部乱弹的余绪;应乡村祭神之需,其演出剧目主要以神怪戏为主;其传播模式属于一种特定历史阶段的草根戏剧的传播,具有很强的流民乞丐等下层民众追随农业繁盛区迁徙而传播的性质。
Gaobeidian “on the four transfer ” belongs to one of the innumerable small and medium-sized drama that the traditional society of our country was once active in the countryside.
