Policymakers in many countries are increasingly recognizing that geochemical surveys are important to the environment and that the issue of the rate of “Earth Evolution” is arousing widespread concern and has become a public pressure on government behavior. So far, most geochemical surveys have been geophysical for exploration purposes. The question now is: what steps should be taken to optimize geochemical data?
