我是学语言学的。我决定这样一个学习上的大方向是在大学三年级,到今天已经有五十年了。五十年来,深感一个人在治学方面应当不断地从旧范围里走出来,走向新的境界;不断地用旧东西培养出新东西。治学的总目的是探索宇宙间(包括人类社会)的某些规律,以便人去利用。至于具体学某一门学科,则常常带有一定的偶然性。对我来说,决定学语言学只是出于偶然的原因。但通过语言研究,想探索宇宙间的某些规律则是我所希望的。
I am learning linguistics. I decided that such a general direction of learning was in the third grade of university, and it has been 50 years since today. In the past 50 years, I deeply felt that one should constantly come out from the old scope and go to a new realm in the field of scholarship, and constantly cultivate new things with old things. The general purpose of scholarship is to explore certain laws in the universe (including human society) for people to use. As for the specific study of a subject, often with some chance. For me, deciding to learn linguistics is only for accidental reasons. However, through language studies, I would like to explore certain laws in the universe.
