Objectives: To explore the choice of delivery method for giant children and the outcome of delivery. Methods: 100 cases of giant children and normal weight children were selected as the observation group and the control group. The clinical data of two groups of newborns and pregnant women were retrospectively analyzed, and the maternal mode of delivery and the complications of childbirth were compared between the two groups. Results: In the observation group, there were more maternal glucose tolerance disorders, pregnancy-induced hypertension and headache patients than those in the control group. The height and abdominal circumference of the maternal women were significantly higher than those in the control group. The biparietal diameter, femur length and abdominal circumference were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group ; Observation group patients with natural delivery rate was significantly lower than the control group, childbirth complications were significantly higher than the control group. Conclusion: The rate of cesarean section in giant children is obviously higher and the complication rate is also higher.
