The various phenomena that occur in nature are often complicated. There are many factors that determine the occurrence and change of a certain phenomenon. When multiple physical quantities change at the same time, it is difficult or even impossible to find the causes and laws of the changes. We can try to control one or a few of the physical quantities to remain unchanged, and then study the relationship between the remaining variables (usually two). This is the control variable method. In common reference materials, they are discussed in research and teaching.
