爱国卫生运动是中国共产党历史上持续时间最长的群众性运动,几乎伴随着中华人民共和国的成长。它的产生具有错综复杂的历史因素:其理论指导是传统预防医学思想和“预防为主”的卫生工作方针;其实践基础是中国共产党在局部执政时期对群众卫生运动的初步探索和实践;其内在动力是广大群众对改善卫生状况、提高健康水平的迫切需求;其直接目的则是为了反对美帝国主义的细菌战。
The patriotic health movement is the longest-lasting mass movement in the history of the Chinese Communist Party, which is accompanied almost by the growth of the People’s Republic of China. Its production has complex historical factors: the theoretical guidance is the traditional preventive medicine thought and the principle of “prevention first”; its practice is based on the preliminary exploration and practice of the mass health movement by the Communist Party of China in the partial ruling period; Its intrinsic motivation is an urgent need of the masses of the general public for improving the health status and improving the health level. Its immediate purpose is to oppose the germ warfare of US imperialism.
