化学工业部于一九八九年四月二十二日～二十五日在成都召开了全国化工设计工作座谈会。这次会议是在贯彻党的十三届三中全会和七届人大二次会议精神,全国各条战线进行治理整顿和深化改革的形势下召开的。会议的中心议题是搞好治理整顿,推进技术进步、提高设计水平、加强行业管理。会议的根本目的是要求化工设计上质量、上水平,为给“八、五”化工建设做出一批高水平的设计作准备。出席和参加这次会议的有全国25个省、自治区、直辖市、计划单列市化工厅(局)和中国化学工程(集团)总公司,化学矿山开发建设总公司主管设计工作的负责同志,部直属和各省市甲、乙级设计单位的院长(经理),
Chemical Industry Department held a national seminar on chemical design in Chengdu from April 22 to April 25, 1989.
