The 19th century woman writer Susan Farrell is known as “Jane Austen of Scotland”. Her novel trilogy is based on themes both inside and outside the home, and is based on mate selection and marriage, rarely involving political issues. However, Farrell and Austin’s writing style is very different. She inherits the humor and wisdom of the Scottish life. She is good at exposing the weaknesses of human nature by comics and exposing the fall and corruption of social custom and morality in the 19th century. Farrell, on the other hand, loves Scotland and places emotions in landscapes and people. This article is the representative of Farrell’s “marriage”
