近来,有些读者很想了解发表于国内期刊上的论文被美国《医学索引》(IM)收录的情况。为了帮助他们了解和掌握检索方法,我们将有关资料及工作中的体会介绍如下。 一、《医学索引》概况 IM既有每月一期的月刊索引、又有以年为单位的累积索引。IM的检索途径有两条:一是主题系统,二是著者系统。被索及的期刊列有一览表(LIST OF JOURNALS INDEXED),它分为两个部分:一是期刊名称缩写(Abbreviation Listing),附刊名全称;二是全称刊名表(Full Title Listing),附缩写名称。《索引期刊目录》刊登在每年(卷)第1期的Part 1前面。1986年起,出版者从IM中将此一览表抽出增加内容单独出版。刊名为LIST of JOURNALS INDEXED in INDEX MEDICUS加年代后
Recently, some readers are curious to know that papers published in domestic journals are included in the U.S. Medical Index (IM). In order to help them understand and master the retrieval method, we introduce the information and the experience in our work as follows. First, the “medical index” profile IM has a monthly monthly index, as well as the cumulative index in years. There are two ways to retrieve IM: one is the subject system, and the other is the author system. The list of cited journals (LIST OF JOURNALS INDEXED), which is divided into two parts: one is the abbreviation (Abbreviation Listing), with the full name of the full title; the second is the full title list (Full Title Listing), with the abbreviation name. The Indexed Journal Catalog is published in front of Part 1 of the 1st issue of the year. Since 1986, publishers have extracted this list from IM for publication separately.
