石河子经济技术开发区是中国西部的国家级经济技术开发区,位于新疆天山北坡经济带及亚欧大陆桥腹心,周边十六个口岸,接壤八个国家,规划面积11.2平方公里。根据发展需要,经新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府批准设立了石河子北工业园区,规划面积31.2平方公里,由石河子开发区管委会统一开发建设。
Shihezi Economic and Technological Development Zone is a national economic and technological development zone in western China. It is located in the economic belt on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang and the heart of the Eurasian Continental Bridge. It has 16 ports and borders on eight countries with a planned area of 11.2 square kilometers. According to development needs, approved by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People’s Government set up the Shihezi North Industrial Park, planning area of 31.2 square kilometers, by the Shihezi Development Zone unified development and construction.
