On May 17, 1997, “Chinese Science Bulletin” published a paper entitled “Discovering the Swire Paintings of Hundreds Million Years Ago in China”, which reported that Chinese archaeologists found lifelike stone paintings at a quarry in Baoshan, Guangxi.
