建国以来,北京市首次成人高等教育工作会议于1992年12月23日至24日在怀柔县召开。北京市副市长陆宇澄、市长助理陶西平、国家教委成人教育司司长董明传、市人大教科委副主任侯维诚、市委教育工委副书记陈大白、市政府文教办副主任史文炳、孙康林、市高教局局长陈忠、市成教局局长尤文、副局长张锡昆、文教亨、贺向东及有关方面负责人出席了会议。北京市18个区县主管文教的区县长、文教办主任、成人教育局局长、市政府各委办的主管领导、教育处长、各局(总公司)的主管领导以及33所被表彰的先进院校和先进办学单位的代表共220多人参加了会议,130多位成人高等院校长列席了会议。会议由
