2001年10月10日,辽宁省大连市中级人民法院、江苏省南京市中级人民法院分别作出一审判决,判处沈阳市原市长慕绥新死刑,缓期二年执行;判处沈阳市原常务副市长马向东死刑。 同日,包括沈阳市政府原副秘书长迟若岩、泰明,财政局原局长李经芳、建委原主任宁先杰、国有资产管理局原局长郭久嗣、烟草专卖局原局长周伟,沈阳市中级人民法院原院长贾永祥,原副院长梁福全、焦玫瑰,沈阳市检察院原检察长刘实等人在内的一批腐败分子也受到法律的严惩。 这一涉及诸多领导干部的大案,世人关注。震惊之余,不禁发问:这一窝案是怎样发生的?又是如何被揭露出来的? 为此,2001年10月,本刊记者赴沈阳“10·18”专案组和南京“11·15”专案组进行了“慕(绥新)马(向东)”案的采访。惊心动魄的查办过程,触目惊心的腐败案情。也许该文能回答读者的疑问。
