2006年11月1日,美国国际贸易委员(简称ITC)根据美国本田汽车公司提请的申诉,决定对原产于中国的发动机及其组件启动337调查程序,并列名江苏无锡开普动力有限公司为应诉方。本次337调查,指控无锡开普动力在美国销售的发动机及其组件侵犯了美国本田已拥有的手提发电机防震技术的专利权。据悉,无锡开普动力作为国家高科技术企业,中国应急电源供应商,以生产数码发电机组、超静音发电机组等系列产品为主,产品远销世界130多个国家和地区。2005年出口汽车发动机和相关部件800多万美元,去年1—3季度,出口1400多万美元。
On November 1, 2006, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC), based on the petition filed by Honda Motor Company, decided to start 337 investigation procedures on engines and their components originating in China and listed as Jiangsu Wuxi Kaipu Power Co., Ltd. Respondent. The investigation of 337 alleged that the engine and its components sold by Wuxi Cape Power in the United States infringed the patent of the shockproof technology of hand-held generators already owned by Honda. It is reported that as a national high-tech technology companies in Wuxi, China’s emergency power suppliers to produce digital gensets, ultra-quiet generator sets and other products, the products are exported to over 130 countries and regions in the world. In 2005, it exported more than 8 million U.S. dollars in automobile engines and related components and exported more than 14 million U.S. dollars in the first three quarters of last year.
