美国百通公司成立于1902年,年销售额15亿美元,占全球电子与通信电缆市场28%的份额。百通共有30000多种型号的产品,包括Brilliance音视频产品、Industrial Tuff工业和自动化产品、Belden综合布线产品和New Generation智能楼宇线缆产品。自1996年进入中国市场,百通涉及的领域包括教育、医疗、住宅、工业、军事、政府、体育场馆等。百通从去年就开始全面调整市场策略,例如2006年7月24日百通在企业标识下新增“Sending All the Right Signal”标语便是一大举措,标志着百通公司从线缆供应商向完整解决方案转变。那么,拥有百年历史的美国百通公司如何在中国布线行业日益成熟的历史时期谋求新的发展?本刊记者采访了美国百通公司中国区综合布线及楼控业务总监雷定勇先生。
Belden, the United States, was founded in 1902 with annual sales of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 28% of the global electronics and telecommunications cable market. Belden has more than 30,000 product models including Brilliance Audio and Video Products, Industrial Tuff Industrial and Automation Products, Belden Cabling Products and New Generation Intelligent Building Cable Products. Since entering the Chinese market in 1996, Belden’s areas of concern include education, healthcare, residential, industrial, military, government, stadiums and the like. Belden began a comprehensive restructuring of its marketing strategy from last year. For example, on July 24, 2006, Belden introduced the “Sending All the Right Signal” slogan under the corporate logo as a major move that marks the launch of a 100% Change to a complete solution.
