福建与台湾隔海相望,平潭岛距台湾新竹仅72海里,是祖国大陆与台湾距离最近的省份。福建是台湾同胞的主要祖籍地,台湾现有人口中祖籍在福建的约占80%,其余大多为广东籍。自古以来闽台关系十分密切。从古文献记载上看,自春秋战国至秦汉,生活在福建的“闽越族”曾“浮海”到台湾。台湾有文字记载的历史可以追溯到公元230年。当时
