对于明代辽东边疆的屯田史,学界一般将洪武七年作为叙述的起点,其依据是《明太祖实录》洪武七年正月的一条记载:户部言:定辽诸卫初设屯种,兵食未遂,诏命水军右卫指挥同知吴迈、广洋卫指挥佥事陈权率舟师出海转运粮储,以备定辽边饷。~①定辽卫是明朝在辽东设立的第一个卫,这里所说的“定辽诸卫”即泛指当时辽东的各卫所。根据“定辽诸卫初设屯种”这一信息,杨呖在《明代辽东都司》中认为“辽东都司的屯田是洪武七年开始的”。~②王毓铨《明代的军屯》一书虽并未确认辽东屯田始于洪武七年,但在叙述时
