陕西汉中位于祖国版图的地理中心,被誉为“汉文化发祥地、中国聚宝盆”。全市林地面积2897万亩,占全市国土面积的71%,森林覆盖率为58.18%。境内以大熊猫、朱鹮、金丝猴,旱莲、汉桂等为代表的珍稀名贵野生动植物广泛分布。是国家“秦巴生物多样性生态功能区”的重要组成部分,同时还是“南水北调工程”供京济渭的重要水源地。生态环境、空气质量达到国家二级标准以上的天数逐年增长。是名副其实的“森林王国、天然氧吧”!
