作为社会主义建设时期新闻工作的一项重要职能,舆论监督是现阶段对社会运行中各种行为的一种制衡机制和对偏差行为的纠错机制,其作用不可小觑,它不仅可以改善并加强中国共产党的领导,还可以提高社会的稳定性,同时对调动人民的主动性与积极性有着明显的作用。当前,我国新闻媒体舆论监督工作取得了前所未有的突破与发展,然而基于各种限制及原因,其不足依然比较明显,这些不足对舆论监督工作的开展与进行造成了较为严重的阻碍与束缚,因此需要具有针对性地对这些不足进行改进,最终提高新闻媒体舆论监督工作的效率与质量。
