If I could use one sentence to describe the ten years that I have gone through, that is, “marketization” completely changed the face of China’s publishing industry. From 2003 to 2013 was an important historical stage in which the publishing community in China started to undergo rapid transformation and development. In these ten years, I served as president of foreign language teaching and research publishing house, party secretary and vice president of China Publishing Group, president of higher education publishing house, party secretary and general manager of China Education Publishing and Media Corporation, China Education Publishing & Media Corporation Chairman, general manager. If I could use one sentence to describe the ten years that I have gone through, that is, “marketization” completely changed the face of China’s publishing industry.
