东亚钳蝎又称马顿钳蝎(Buthus martensi Kar.),属原始肉食药用节肢动物。据医书记载,中药全蝎有镇痉、熄风、攻毒等作用。本文作者采用空气干燥法制备染色体技术,在光镜下观察了该虫精母细胞的染色体组型,随机计数65个中期分裂相细胞,发现东亚钳蝎的精母细胞染色体二倍体数目,24个者居多(69.33%)。同源染色体可配为11对,另1对为性染色体,长者为X,较短者为Y染色体。因此,该虫的性决定为2n=22A+XY。
East Asia Scorpio, also known as Martens viper (Buthus martensi Kar.), Is a primitive carnivorous medicinal arthropod.
