民族团结是社会稳定的重要政治基础。新疆是一个多民族聚居的民族自治区。不但民族成分多,民族人口比重也高,全国56个民族中有6个民族人口90%以上居住在新疆境内。2010年第六次人口普查表明新疆境内已有55个民族。民族团结有利于各民族共同繁荣发展,民族冲突只能给各民族带来灾难,加强民族团结是各族人民的根本利益之所在,是构建和谐新疆的重要条件。坚持“三个离不开”重要思想对于民族团结起着重要的作用。
National unity is an important political foundation for social stability. Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic national autonomous area. Not only is there a large ethnic composition, but also a high proportion of the ethnic population. Over 90% of the 6 ethnic groups in the 56 ethnic groups reside in Xinjiang. The sixth census in 2010 shows that there are already 55 ethnic groups in Xinjiang. National unity is conducive to the common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups. Ethnic conflicts can only bring disaster to all ethnic groups. Strengthening national unity is the fundamental interest of people of all ethnic groups and an important condition for building a harmonious Xinjiang. To uphold the important thinking that “the three can not be separated from” plays an important role in national unity.
