Not long ago, I arranged for some time to work in Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, to help the local grass-roots party organizations carry out their work. Because of the nature of the work of sending units, I paid more attention to the development of education in the Tibetan areas during my work and research. I often exchanged views with principals, teachers and educational administrations, and also found some problems that deserved further consideration and urgent solutions . Question 1: How to Attract Excellent Teachers to Teach in Tibetan Areas Benefiting from the strong support from the government and Gansu Province, education in Gannan Tibetan Area can basically meet the teaching needs in terms of hardware. Some regions and even schools have even exceeded the conditions for running schools.
