At the forthcoming anniversary of the July 7 Lugouqiao Incident, many newspapers published articles that reviewed and condemned the Japanese aggression. This is very necessary. However, there is another issue that deserves discussion and less discussion: what lessons should we draw from the Lugouqiao Incident? Think of it as though the Japanese invaders preferred “big Japan” In fact, its land area is very small, only a few islands. But they could rampage on the vast land of China. They encroached on insatiable appetite in the three northeastern provinces and provoked incidents in Lugou Bridge. They premeditated to launch a comprehensive war of aggression against China and pushed the vast territory of China into the sea of blood. This is why? Is not it a very profound lesson, it is worth our deep reflection it?
