翻译散文,于忠实、通顺之外,还应着力保存散文的风格。所谓风格,就是作者在文章内容和形式的统一中所显示出来的风貌特征。所以,译文保留原文的形式,也就传达出了原文的风格。由于中西语言、思维、文化存在差异,形式不可能全部移植,这时译者应舍弃形式,保留原文的内容。不过,译者只要有较深的文化和语言修养,就可以在译文中尽可能多地保留原文的形式,得到形神兼备的译文,从总体上保留住原文的风格。
