据联合国粮农组织(FAO)表示,2012/13年度全球大米产量可能连续第八年超过消费,提振大米期末库存增至创纪录的1.73亿t,比上年增长约7%,即150万t。今年大米期末库存将占到全球大米年产量的35%左右。FAO表示,全球大米消费量可能增长约700万t,达到4.78亿t。但是全球大米产量将达到约4.895亿t,比消费量高出1150万t。与此同时,全球大米贸易预计约为3700万t,年比减少2%。
According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), global rice production in 2012/13 may exceed consumption for the eighth straight year in a row, boosting the ending stocks of rice to a record high of 173 million tons, up about 7% over the previous year, or 1.5 million tons . This year’s ending stocks of rice will account for about 35% of the world’s annual rice production. FAO said global rice consumption could grow by about 7 million tons to 478 million tons. However, global rice production will reach about 489.5 million tons, 11.5 million tons more than the consumption. In the meantime, the global rice trade is estimated at 37 million tonnes, a 2% YoY decline.
