本刊第19期黄安年教授的来信《面向世界,需要更多地了解世界》、21期摘转《北京青年报》文章《钱塘江畔的“世界知识之友”》和22期王云老师给黄安年教授的信,引起一些读者(主要是中学教育工作者和学生)的共鸣和反响,他们致信本刊,谈到在中学生中普及国际知识、培养全球意识的意义,也谈到现行中学教育工作的现状使他们感到的困惑。有的学生读者还谈到他们的课外兴趣受到繁重课业限制的苦恼。其实,在编辑部平时接到的读者来信中,学生读者诉说苦恼者不在少数。本期我们再将朱建国老师在杭州外国语学校“世界知识之友:中国与世界”系列讲座开办时的演说稿发表于此,愿《世界知识》与所有年轻读者一起“携起手来,舒展心灵,放飞想象”。让每个同学获得充分而全面的发展!——编者
