吴玉章先生曾经指出:“辛亥革命的爆发不在别的地方而在武汉,并不是偶然的,1904年以后,这里已经建立了革命团体,并且有人坚持在士兵中进行鼓动和组织工作。”~([1])我认为这其中有革命团体日知会书报阅览室的一份功劳。
Mr. Wu Yu-chang once pointed out: “It is no accident that the revolution of 1911 broke out in Wuhan without any other place. After 1904, revolutionary groups were established here and some insisted on encouraging and organizing the soldiers.” ([1]) I think there is a credit to the Revolutionary Reading Day newspaper reading room.
