VAD和VAJ法是美国芬克尔—父子公司开发的两种带电弧加热的真空脱气精炼法。两种方法的主要区别是:VAD法是利用蒸汽喷射泵系统获得压力<133.32 Pa的高真空度,在高真空下进行电弧加热和脱气等精炼;VAJ法利用空气喷射泵系统获得压力为13.33~66.66 kPa的低真空,在低真空下进行电弧加热和脱气等精炼。两种方法的脱氧和脱氮效果基本相同,但VAJ法的脱氢效果不如VAD法。
VAD and VAJ method is the United States Finkel - father and son developed two kinds of arc-heated vacuum degassing refining method. The main difference between the two methods is: VAD method is the use of steam jet pump system to obtain the pressure <133.32 Pa high vacuum, under high vacuum arc heating and degassing and other refining; VAJ method using air jet pump system to obtain a pressure of 13.33 ~ 66.66 kPa low vacuum, under low vacuum arc heating and degassing and other refining. The deoxygenation and denitrification effects of the two methods are basically the same, but the dehydrogenation effect of the VAJ method is not as good as the VAD method.
